A landmark worth keeping
Fresh paint, clear windows, and sound masonry for the building we all share.
Our home on McClellan Street has stood since 1901, and it has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1989. After more than a century of Wisconsin weather, it needs care: fresh paint, new seals for windows that have failed, and masonry repairs to our porch, railings and other parts of the exterior.
Inside, our galleries are filled with art made with care and intention. We want the outside to show the same artistry. It’s the first thing every visitor sees, and it’s where couples, wedding parties, and families pause for photos before they step inside, past the galleries and up to the Grand Ballroom. The whole building should welcome them the way the art does.
Because our building is on the historic registry, this work follows preservation guidelines, so it stays as beautiful as the original builders intended. Your gift helps us do it the right way.
