Opening the north wing
Two floors of new space for artists, guests and the work that surrounds art.
WMOCA is growing, and the north wing is where it grows next. Two stories of unfinished space are waiting to be turned into something that serves our artists, our visitors and our community.
Today, the north wing is full of promise and empty of purpose. With your help, it can become a place where wedding parties get ready, where visiting artists stay and create, and where new ideas find a home.
Every one of these uses supports the others. Wedding party suites make the ballroom a better place to celebrate, which helps support the museum. Residency lodging lets us bring artists to Wausau for longer stays. New services bring more people through our doors. Together, they make WMOCA stronger and more self-sufficient.

What the north wing makes possible
Help us open doors that are waiting.
A place to get ready
Wedding party suites give couples and their families a beautiful space to prepare, just steps from the Grand Ballroom.
A home for visiting artists
Residency lodging with a private bathroom lets us invite artists to stay, create and share their work with our community.
Room for what comes next
Offices, a framing shop, digital art capture and more: space for new services that go hand in hand with art.
