Step into the Evening
The Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art is proud to introduce the Inaugural Masquerade Ball. An elegant new fundraising event designed to become a signature cultural and social experience for our community.
From arrival to final toast, guests will be part of a thoughtfully curated experience that reflects the creativity, sophistication, and energy of the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art.

6:00 PM | Doors Open
The evening begins at The Wausau Club with signature cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, live music, and the opening of our Silent Auction. Guests are also invited to explore the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art galleries throughout the evening.
6:00–7:00 PM | Live Music & Interpretive Dance
Enjoy live music by John Ward, accompanied by an interpretive dance performance by Emma Becker, as guests arrive, mingle, and begin bidding.
6:00–9:00 PM | Silent Auction & Live Painting
Browse and bid on an exciting collection of experiences, original artwork, and unique packages, while watching the talented Kara Lasiewicz bring Martha—the elusive ghost said to haunt The Wausau Club—to life in a special live painting experience.
7:00–8:00 PM | Live Music
The celebration continues with John Greiner and Band.
8:15–9:00 PM | Live Auction
Gather for our featured Live Auction and help support WMOCA's exhibitions, educational programming, workshops, and continued free museum admission.
9:00 PM | Auction Winners & Checkout
Silent Auction winners will be announced and auction checkout will begin.
9:00–11:00 PM | Music & Dancing
John Greiner and Band return as we finish the evening with music, dancing, cocktails, and mingling.
SILENT & LIVE AUCTION
Featuring art, experiences, portrait sessions, workshops, and a live event painting auctioned at the end of the night.
FINE ART
Custom fine art made by local professionals
WORKSHOPS
Bid on an opportunity to experience hands on art instruction from different studios and business.
CUSTOM ART PIECE
You may be lucky enough to purchase a portrait session for a custom art piece for yourself or a loved one.
