Art is for everyone.

Art belongs to everyone, in the galleries and in the studio.

At WMOCA, admission is always free, and we want the chance to make art to be just as open. Our scholarship fund helps pay class fees for students who couldn’t otherwise take part, so every seat in the studio can go to someone who’s ready to learn.

Our classes and workshops are taught by working artists, and they should be paid fairly for their craft. Scholarships help pay the class fee, so students can take part and educators are compensated for their work. Everyone benefits.

Our scholarships are available to teens and adults in the Wausau area and across northern Wisconsin who want to take a WMOCA class or workshop but can’t afford the fee.

$25 helps a student get started toward any class or workshop.

$55 helps pay for one student to make a set of epoxy resin and wood coasters.

$85 helps send one student to one of our evening classes, such as Palette Knife Painting or Color Theory.

$125 helps pay for half a month of oil painting instruction.

$250.00
$250 helps open a seat in a full month of oil painting instruction.
