A four-week wildlife drawing workshop
Learn to draw animals that look alive on the page. In this four-week workshop, artist Mark Mittlesteadt shares the approach behind his decades of work in wildlife art, portraiture, illustration, murals, and museum displays.
Choose any animal you love, from a backyard cardinal to a black bear, a house cat, or even an elephant. You’ll build your drawing from the inside out. The first class focuses on understanding anatomy and how the skeleton shapes posture, movement, and form. Over the following weeks, Mark will guide you as you develop your drawing with structure, proportion, texture, and detail.
The workshop welcomes artists of every experience level, from beginners to professionals. Class is limited to 10 students, so each artist gets individual attention.
